A world of Devices, a single management software The solution devised by Eximia is designed to easily connect RFID readers from different brands to a system (the middleware) capable of managing their configurations (network parameters, antenna power, I/O, filters, etc.) and the related data propagated by them (readings, input triggers, 'no tag', 'lost tag'). The system is intended for integration with ERP or MES management systems currently in use by the customer. The system can also function in standalone mode. Such a product can be used to manage a single reader, a passage gate, as well as an entire setup characterized by multiple reading points and different control requirements. The Middleware is implemented as a Windows Service, relying on a choice of database (any DB or configuration/saving to a file) capable of handling devices from multiple manufacturers (Impinj, Kathrein, Soltec, Toshiba, Zebra, and Rodinbell).
